Frequently Asked Questions Relating to My Nappy Cakes and Baby Gifts

I have gathered together a list of the most frequently asked questions about the services and gifts offered at Stacey Jane’s Nappy Cakes.

How to add a product review to the website


How long does it take a gift to arrive after I place an order?

If you place a same day order by 10.30am (Adelaide time) from the pre-assembled shop it will be delivered to an Adelaide Maternity hospital that afternoon around 2pm-5.30pm.If you place an order after 10.30am and before 7pm or wish to purchase a gift that requires assembly.  This will be assembled on the day/evening you place your order and dispatched on the first courier at 8.00am the next business day.  If your gift is being delivered to an Adelaide address you can normally expect this to be delivered between 11am-5.30pm the day of dispatch.Interstate deliveries are generally dispatched next business day of order (sometime same day you order depending on how early you place your order in the day) and will depend on transit times as to how many days after ordering it is delivered. Do you deliver on weekends and public holidays?

No, unfortunately the courier does not work on the weekends and public holidays. .


Delivering to a different address from the billing address.

If you would like your gift delivered to a different address to your billing address simply tick the box at the top of the page at Checkout.

Do you deliver interstate? How much will it cost & How long will it take?

Yes, most of my gifts are able to be shipped interstate and the cost will vary depending on the destination of your parcel. All gifts are shipped via road freight.  Due to the size this is the most cost effective way to get them around Australia.
I have shipping calculator in the shopping cart. Simply add your gift to the cart, enter your postcode and it will determine how much your freight will cost, it will also give you an indication on the time frame of delivery.
There are currently 3 gifts that require an extra large packing box and therefore the shipping cost is greater.  These gifts are the 5 tier nappy cake, 4 tier nappy cake and the fairy castle nappy cake.  For more information on interstate shipping please visit the interstate delivery information page.
All my other gifts fit into standard size shipping boxes and can be shipped all over Australia.


  When do you stop taking orders for delivery same day in Adelaide?

10.30am (Adelaide time).

I don’t like providing my credit cards details online, even if it is secure. Is there another way I can pay for my baby gift?

Yes of course. Please give me a call on 0417 885 986 and I will be happy to take your order over the phone.

How can I tell if you have received my order correctly?

Once your order is placed online and payment has been made you will receive an instant automatic confirmation email acknowledging your order is being processed. This will have all your cart items, gift tag message and delivery address on it.  If you don’t receive this emails please give me a call 0417 885 986 so I can double check what might have happened.

What happens if the recipient is not home at the time the courier deliver’s my baby gift?

If you have ticked the box at checkout to give authority to leave, the courier will leave the gift at the front door or in a safe place specified by you.If you choose not to give authority to leave, this is ok, the courier will leave a calling card with a phone number to call to arrange a re-delivery – Depending on it’s destination a re-delivery fee may apply.  If you are concerned about the fee please give me a call and I can let you know how much this is likely to be. Most deliveries are re-delivered free of charge in the Adelaide area. T’s & C’s apply.


What brand and size nappies do you use?

I only use Huggies nappies.  The Green cakes are made with newborn size up to 5kg.  The pink and blue cakes are made with infant size nappies 4-8kg. This way your recipient can admire your gift a little longer before it is needed to be unwrapped. If you require a different size nappy please contact me to discuss your options.

I would like to order multiple baby gifts to the same address, will this cost me any more in shipping?

If you are having 2-3 gifts sent to the same person at the same address in the Adelaide area I charge a flat rate shipping fee.If you are sending interstate unfortunately each nappy cake or baby gift hamper will incur it’s own shipping fee.  This is due to being individually boxed and packed securely to avoid damage in transit.

Money is a little tight at the present time, can I use a coupon to reduce the cost of my baby gift purchase?

I do occasionally issue coupon codes allowing a reduction in the price of certain gifts in the online store. If you have been to a market you may have found a coupon in your entry bags. Quite often I will post a coupon code to my Facebook page.  Like my page to be kept up to date with deals, sales and coupon code in your newsfeeds.

I see you accept credit cards? I don’t have one, is there any other method I can use to pay for my baby gift?

Yes. Credit/debit card is the most common method of payment, however we do appreciate that not everyone is happy using this method. You may pay by direct transfer to our bank account. When you place your order online if you choose direct bank transfer the order confirmation screen and email will give you my bank details to make payment to.  Please note gifts are not dispatched until cleared funds are received in the bank account.

I’ve ordered a gift but I’ve made a mistake. What do I do?

Quick, give me a call on 0417 885 986 .  Provided I haven’t already dispatched your order we should be able to help you out.

How do I cancel an order?

If for some reason you decide to cancel an order, please give me a call on 0417 885 986. 24hrs notice prior to your delivery date is required. However providing I haven’t started assembling your gift or dispatched the gift I can refund your card and cancel the purchase. Cancellations made less that 24hrs notice will incur an $8 administration fee.  If the gift has already been dispatched you will have to follow our returns policy.

My nappy cake was delivered in perfect condition and on time but it contains different colours and different styles of baby items to what was displayed on your website.

Due to popularity of some items and the manufactures supplies at the time of my stock order I sometimes need to substitute certain items with a different colour or style.  The gift is still assembled with the same care and love is the equal price to what you paid.I am also constantly seeking new and exciting baby items to add to my gift boxes, sometime circumstances outside of my control may mean I am unable to send the gift box containing exactly what was displayed at the time of your order (you will be notified of anything significant, however I reserve the right to replace items with something of equal or higher value).

How do I know my credit card details are secure?

All orders are taken using the PayPal merchant which is processed offsite in the PayPal secure transaction server.  I don’t receive or store any of your credit card details.

How is my gift packaged for transit?

All gifts are cellophaned and gift tagged so they present beautifully to your recipient.  Those going to an Adelaide address will be delivered just like this.  Interstate deliveries will also be boxed and packaged to avoid damage in the truck.

My baby gift arrived but it is in a terrible state.

Occasionally during the transit process things can get damaged. However please be aware that the box itself is only there to protect the gifts you have purchased. If the gifts inside the box are in perfect condition then I am happy. If your nappy cake or baby gift  is damaged in any way, simply send the gift back to us and we will of course replace it. Please ensure you obtain a proof of posting or shipping as I cannot be held liable if your gift should go missing in transit and proof of shipping has not been obtained.
